Filing a takedown notice

If you believe content on SepticNest infringes your copyright, send a written notice to [email protected] (subject: “DMCA Notice”) including:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material.
  4. Your contact information (name, address, email, phone).
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Our response

On receiving a valid notice, we will promptly review and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material and notify the affected party.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same contact address, identifying the material, its former location, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake.

Repeat infringers

We may remove content and restrict users who repeatedly infringe.
